Hello, my name is Lisa, and I am the founder of Achieving Excellence. Thank you for joining me on this journey! You might wonder why I chose this name. The inspiration comes from one of my favorite quotes:

“Excellence is the result of caring more than others think is wise; risking more than others think is safe. Dreaming more than others think is practical and expecting more than others think is possible.”

Achieving excellence begins not with position or performance, but with godly character. It is about aligning your life and leadership with God's purpose, embracing your true identity in Christ, and experiencing the inner peace and confidence that comes from living faithfully.

Life is a journey filled with experiences, relationships, challenges, and growth. My own journey has included incredible friendships, professional experiences, and heartbreaking losses. Along the way, I believed I was in control, allowing the world's standards to define my worth. Though I appeared successful and happy on the outside, I felt unsettled and constantly searched for something more.

The first heartbreak that profoundly shifted my perspective was the death of my father. Walking alongside him during his final days opened my eyes to life in a new way. When I finally stepped aside and allowed God to lead, I began to experience His guidance, patience, and self-control in my daily life. In those moments of stretching and navigating the unknown, I found inner peace and a deep desire to help others step into their God-given purpose and achieve more than they ever imagined.

I walk alongside leaders and those sensing a call to lead who desire to grow in character, strengthen relationships, and lead with humility and grace. Coaching provides a supportive, faith-centered space to pursue meaningful growth, deepen self-awareness, and lead authentically in both personal and professional life.

I offer guidance, encouragement, and practical tools through:

Lisa believes that great leadership begins with a daily renewal of the mind and a life lived from a place of grace. By intentionally cultivating patience, self-control, and vision, leaders create opportunities for others to see new possibilities. Her approach emphasizes looking up for guidance, looking out for others, and moving forward with purpose, a lifestyle that fosters lasting transformation in both personal and professional realms.

Experience and Credentials

Passionate about supporting others on their own transformational journey, Lisa has pursued education and certification to equip her in this mission. She is a certified Consultant and Coach through Concordia University Irvine/Townsend Institute, a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator, a Strengths Champion Coach, a Transformation Life Coach, and has completed Financial Coach Master Training with the Ramsey Solutions team. Lisa holds an MA in Organizational Leadership and a BA in Business.

In addition to her certifications, Lisa has received extensive training as a Stephen Minister and Stephen Leader. With nearly a decade of experience as a Faith Journey Director, her passion for Christ and sharing His love has led her to further her education by pursuing a Master of Ministry degree through the Institute of Lutheran Theology.

With experience in corporations, small businesses, and non-profits, Lisa has led teams of all sizes across various ministry areas and is a seasoned entrepreneur.

Signature Programs and Speaking Engagements

Lisa believes true, lasting change begins with a connection between the head and the heart. To this end, she created "Transformational Conversations,” group sessions designed to help individuals grow relationally, spiritually, and professionally, achieving lasting change. Lisa is also available for speaking engagements to share her insights, experience, and faith with larger audiences.
